Scrapbooking 101- Basic Tools and Supplies in Scrapbooking

I always receive compliments from people who have seen my scrapbook layouts. And the second thing I hear is "I wish I was as creative as you". But, I am still learning and continue to learn. In the scrapbook world, there is always something new. It is always a continuous act of creation. But before get too excited, we need to know the basics. Today, you are going to learn the "must have" tools and supplies for Basic Scrapbooking.

8 Basic Scrapbooking Tools & Supplies:
  1. Photos
  2. Papers or Cardstock
  3. Albums
  4. Paper Cutter/ Trimmer
  5. Scissors
  6. Adhesive
  7. Embellishments ( blings, ribbon, buttons,stickers, etc.)
  8. Label Makers or Computer ( for journaling, Titles or phrases)

Avoid being a resident of Michaels and going crazy buying your basic supplies. Just focus on what you need and slowly you will be able to build your enough supplies as time goes by. For me, I prefer buying my stuff online. Why?,. because when I am at the retail store, I am always tempted to buy stuff I do not need or do not know how to use. At scrapbook.com, you have the option to search for specific products.  For example, you only need basic tools or cardstock.  Another neat thing is,  there are customer reviews available so you know what people are saying about the product you want to buy. Also, you can view photos of finished projects where the product or item you are about to purchased have been used.
