Dressbox Gift Favor

Hello Folks! I hope everyone  had a great Easter Weekend. So, after Easter, what's next? I think everyone is looking forward on the Royal Wedding on this coming Friday. It is the most awaited, most talked Wedding Event of Kate and Prince William. I have seen different kinds of beautiful  royal souvenirs all over the net and TV . So today, my project was inspired by the Royal Event of the Year - A Dressbox Gift Favor!

I made these cute Favor Boxes in different colors to capture the Spring colors and Prom season. This dressbox template is from the Tie The Knot Cricut Cartridge. I dry embossed them using my Cuttlebug and decorated them with ribbons and stickles. It is very easy and fast project if you have the tools.

These Favor Boxes are perfect for weddings, bridal showers, Quinceñera, and sweet 16 parties. These unique dress shaped gift favors will make your guests delight with your creative talent. You can fill it with tasty treats or special treasures as souvenir.

You don't have tools or cartridge to make these? Not a problem, I will be offering the supplies to make these cute Dressbox Favor Box on my Etsy shop soon.

 Hope this project inspires you!

This awesome Fairyopolis Card Kit that I used on today's project is Now Available!  Today, Crafter's Companion launched this Flower Fairies Card Making Kit ! Flower Fairies Fairyopolis Card-Making Kit
When I received this  Fairyopolis Card- Making Kit, first word I say was "Ohlala!" Yes, it was that amazing! Everything you need to create easy and beautiful cards are already in the kit. You can practically make all the cards in the kit and still have two-thirds of the kit left over! How cool is that?!
So, if you look on my Gatefold Party Invitation Card, you can see that I almost want to put everything in my card. See the 3D Decoupage Flower Fairies?  They were raised with the aid of foam squares that are also in the kit! That's very easy to make. The 3D Decoupage sheet was already numbered so even a newbie Crafter's can make a 3D card. The flower fairies on the card are a combination of 3D Decoupage + stamp image and rub-ons stickers. Having this amazing Fairyopolis Card-Kit in your collection is a MUST. You can create a beautiful and stunning card in just minutes!
I used my Ultimate Crafter's Tool to make this perfect Gatefold Card. I love Crafter's Companion. This company has wide variety of products. They keep on impressing their customers by their forward thinking, designs and innovations. It's your one-stop shop for craft essentials!

 Hope this card inspires you!

Baby Girl Mini Accordion Album

This will be at the top of the post until April 30th.
Be sure to scroll down.

First, I would like to thank everyone who voted for my Framed Ribbon Spring Flowers for the May Arts Ribbon DT Challenge. It was humbling to realize the overpowering display of support from my fellow Crafters on the blogosphere and my followers. Once again, Thank you  from the bottom of my heart!

Yes, I was lucky to be picked as one of the Finalist for May Arts Design Team Challenge. They will announce the winner on Tuesday- April 19th. If you have not cast your votes yet, please head to May Arts Blog and choose your favorite finalist for a chance to win some cool prizes.

Ok, back to my project for today. This is a  6" x 6" Baby Girl Mini- Accordion Album. I made this cute album for my niece. She's so adorable and what a better way to showcase those candid shots than to put it on an album where you can bring and display all the time.

There are 8 pages on this mini-album and each page was decorated with paper cut-outs using Cricut Cutter. I  used different cartridges here so if you would to know what exactly the Cricut Cartridges I used, please email me.

For the patterned paper. I used the DCWV Nana's Kids. I also used some buttons, brads and ribbons to embellish the album. I love making projects with Spring theme because it is full of colors and cheery! Don't you think?

I leave some spaces for her mom to put some journaling or more Baby Sentiments. This is a perfect gift for Baby Shower, Baptism or simply use it as a brag book.

This little book of love is very easy to make, it something you can bring  and show to friends and family all the time.

Tri-Fold Shutter Card Tutorial

This will be at the top of the post until April 30th.
Be sure to scroll down.

Happy Thursday Everyone! Today is my turn to post for Crafter's Companion as one of their Design Team members. I made this Tri-Fold Shutter card and used the iconic kissing couple of S.W.A.L.K. stamp sets as my focal point. The S.W.A.L.K. rubber stamp set is called " A Little Kiss" and it is launched today along with the other 5 sets. You can check more details about my shutter card here

Below is the tutorial on how to make this unique Shutter Card.

Tri-Fold Shutter Card Instructions

1. Start with a 6” by 12” piece of cardstock.
Note: See scoring instructions using Ultimate Crafter's Companion Tool in Blue Text.

2. Score paper at 2”, 4” , 8” and 10".
( Line 4 on Box Lid. Fold once and score at line 4 again. Repeat on the other side).

3.  Turn cardsctock ¼ turn. Along the side, measure in 1½" for both sides.
       ( Line 3 on Box Lid )

4.  Make a slit with a craft knife between score marks 2" and 10". Repeat on the other long side.

5.  Fold card as pictured. This is the base for your card to decorate.

Quinceañera Exploding Invitation Box

This will be at the top of the post until April 30th.
Be sure to scroll down.

Quinceañera Invitation Exploding Box - Inside

Hi Folks, Let me unveil to you this Exploding Invitation Box that I designed for a lady that is having her Quinceañera or 15th Birthday in a couple of months from now. She saw my Exploding Box Tutorial on my blog and instead of getting the tutorial, she asked me if I can make Quinceañera Invitation Exploding Box for her in Red and Black. I showed her this design and she absolutely loved it.

Quinceañera Invitation Exploding Box Tutorial now available on my Etsy Shop

This Exploding Box measures 2½"W x2 ½"Lx2 ½"H when closed. It is 100% handmade with perfection. I made the 3D Flowers using my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge and the leaves are from my Cricut Accent Essentials Cartridge. I used 2 colors of organza ribbon to keep the box closed. Once the recipient received and open this Invitation Box- it will explode - like MAGIC!

The focal point of the inside box is the 3-Tier cake. This is not a real cake.Lol!  It is a paper handmade 3-Tier Cake. The Birthday celebrant have the Black and Red color theme going, so I decided to decorate my cake with 1/8" red a satin ribbon and attached cascading red  butterflies. I think it is BEAUTIFUL.

I used a rubber stamp for the princess dress and color it with markers and add red stickles glitters. I printed the Invitation wording inserts and attached to the other 3 panels.

Who would not love to attend a party after receiving an invitation as detailed as this one?
Check the PDF Tutorial of this Exploding Box + 3-Tier Cake + Bonus 3D Flower here

The cake was surrounded with floating cut-out flowers and hearts with the aid of acetate strips. Since the acetate is transparent, the cut out flowers looks like they are floating in the air, they dance gracefully the moment you open the box. That's why it is called Exploding Box!

Some of you might have seen this on the web, but I kinda make it my own by transforming the regular exploding box into and invitation box. The 3-Tier Cake + Princess Dress and the Invitation inserts are my original design.

So, I have to make 75 pieces of this box, so I better get on it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Watering Can Flower Arrangement

Today, April 1st is the kick-off of Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog.  Here's my design idea for this month  Flower Challenge. A Watering Can Flower Arrangement. The stamps I used is  the beautiful "Thank You" S.W.A.L.K stamp set. I created a 3D effect by cutting out the stamp image and raising some of the flowers using foam dots. I also used Embossing Liquid on the flowers and hair clips to give dimension on the image. The "Thank You" sentiment I used is part of the S.W.A.L.K. stamp set. I love everything on this picture. The pearlescent cardstock, the Spring colors, the flowers and  the stamps. They all blend perfectly. I love it!
