Faux Leather Purses

I just LOVE these Faux Leather Purses and my cute Faux Alligator Skin Wristlet. They are perfect as a Bridal Gift Favor or gift box for little goodies or gift cards. To achieved the faux leather look, Embossing Technique was used. I applied Versamark™ ink over my cardstock and sprinkle clear embossing powder. Then heat emboss using a heat gun. If you notice my sparkly purse, that was a nice end product after a mistake discovery. I had used the Iridescent Ice Embossing powder instead of clear embossing powder during my first try on this technique. But, I kinda like the outcome. It has this glamorous look into it.

Don't you just love this cute little purse? Check out the mini-tutorial here.

Here's my inspiration for the Faux Alligator Skin Wrislet.

I want to make a paper version of this awesome clutch one of these days. I will blog later once I had the replica finished so make sure to come back.

4¼ x 4¼ Pizza Box Tutorials

Here is a tutorial for 4¼ x  4¼ pizza-like box. This is a nice way to package your 4¼ x4 ¼ 3D projects. Look at the 3D Easel Cards in the picture. Besides making a great package presentation, you will be able to preserve  the beauty of your 3D cards using this box. The flowers on these cards can be easily disformed by just using an ordinary envelope.

4¼ x 4¼ Box Tutorials

1. You will need 1 piece of 12 x 6½ inch cardstock. Score at 1 inch both side on the longer side. Score crosswise starting at 1 inch, 5½ inch, 6½ and 11 inch.

2. Cut slits ( see figure below) and cut away 2 corner sections ( see figure below).

3. Adhere double sided tape on 4 flaps. Assemble and decorate your box. DONE!

I will try to post the template and tutorial of the Easel Card and 3D Flower on my future blogs so stay tune.
