Turquoise Blue & Chocolate Brown Color Combo - LIKE it?

Hello Everyone! Happy Tuesday! I just want to share some inspirational photos of the Turquoise Blue and Chocolate Brown Color Combo. This color combination has been very popular for the 2012 color palette for Weddings, Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, 18th Birthdays and other party events.

Brides and Mis Quince/ Sweet 16 girls loves the elegant color combination of earthy brown tones and cool rich turquoise blue. It really creates a rich look on your invitations or gift favors.

My Client in Jamaica, purchased this Jinky's Crafts Custom Exploding Box Invitation Kit. They did the assembly to save money and I was impressed with the great work they did on my Exploding Box Wedding Invitation Kit. The finished project looks beautiful! They really did a super awesome job.

If you have a color idea or theme idea that you want to be featured here - or if you had purchased my Exploding Box  w/ 3-Tier Cake PDF Tutorial or Kit and want to share your photos, please don't hesitate to email or contact me.

Side Step 3D Save The Date Card

Hello everyone! Did you guys miss me at all? I have been MIA for a month now. I had a mini-vacation in Vancouver Canada where I used to live.  And where my family lives. I had fun checking out the popular Tourist destinations like Whistler, Grouse Mountain Resort and Capilano Suspension Bridge. I have been away for 1.5 yrs so I had to check out the changes.  I consider British Columbia, Canada my 1st home...and it is still beautiful.

Okey enough of my boring story... Today, I would love to share with you a Side Step, 3D Save The Date Card. I have been receiving requests from my followers to design some flat cards and not only Exploding Boxes Invitations. I am a 3D enthusiast so I don't want to compromise that with my latest Side Step Save The Date Card.

This Side Step Card can be used as Wedding Invitations, Quinceañera Invitations, Birthday Invitations or a Table Number Card. It is very unique and your guests will appreciate the effort that was put into a Handmade card like this one.

Tutorial and Template for Side Step Card

  1. Start with a 8” x 4” of cardstock. Using a craft knife, make a horizontal slit 1½” down from the top edge, starting at ¾” from the left and extending up to 6”.
  2. Score vertically at ¾”, 1½”, 2¾”, 4” and 6” as shown on figure above.
  3. Fold by mountain or valley fold line. See figure below.
  4. Decorate. Done!

Also I just want to share some photos of my escapade in BC, Canada!
