Exploding Cupcake Purse - Closed
Ribbon Used : May Arts
So, I have been thinking what could I do for the Day 5 project in my 12 Days of Christmas Handmade Crafts E-Book. And I kept on coming back to this Exploding Cupcake Purse. I know I made something like this in the past, and I promised a tutorial. So here it is.  I decided to include it now in the 2nd Edition of my 12 Days of Christmas E-Book.

Exploding Cupcake Purse - Open

With the magnificently Exploding Cupcake Purse, you are able to turn your party extraordinary. This specially embellished Exploding Cupcake Purse will hold your cupcake in place and will allow you to give away your baked goods in style. If you are like me who like to personalized everything when you host a party, this project is perfect for you. Having something like this DIY Cupcake packaging will give a personal touch to your giveaways. And you can be sure your guests will be very thankful for the wonderful gifts they received.

The  Exploding Cupcake Purse template is very versatile, I used the same template in making these invitations for a Quinceañera/15 Años/15th Birthday client in New York.

The step-by-step tutorial for this Unique Holiday Gift Packaging will be available on the 12th Day of Christmas. This will be included in the 2nd Edition of the 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Crafts E-Book. You can find the first edition here: 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Crafts E-Book

But wait! If you are like me and you can not wait sometimes, the separate tutorial for just this project is now available for purchase at my Etsy Shop. If you just want to buy just this one tutorial, you have that option now but be aware that this will be included on the 12 Days of Christmas 2nd Edition and that you won't be refunded if you decide to buy the E-book later on.

Thanks a lot for stopping by. Please stay tuned for more Holiday projects to come.

Window Christmas Tote Bag

Are You Ready to Become the Talk of All Your Friends with the Most Unique Set of Gifts They have Ever Seen?

Welcome to Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Handmade Crafts. The Day 4 project is a Creative Christmas packaging project. It's a Window Christmas Tote Bag. I don't know about you, but I like gifts that are beautiful equally inside and out. Sure, it is easy to wrap  gifts with wrapping paper using different colors and patterns, but there  are certain gifts that you just don't wrap right with wrapping papers. Here's when creative packaging comes in.

This Window Christmas Tote Bag is made out of 2 pieces of 12 x 12 heavy cardstock but you can always adjust the template according to any size you want or need. Please remember that the template and tutorial will be available on the 12th Day and that there are 8 more Christmas projects to go! Please stay tuned.

The window of this bag is a created using a Christmas Cracker template. You can leave it open or you can cover it with clear acetate. This will enable you to show off the product or gifts inside the bag. With that being said, this would also be a great packaging for promotional products like handmade candles, handmade soaps, cosmetics, or even Christmas ornaments. The possibilities are endless on what you could put inside.

The step-by-step tutorial for this Unique Holiday Gift & Packaging will be available on the 12th Day of Christmas. This will be included in the 2nd Edition of the 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Crafts E-Book. You can find the first edition here: 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Crafts E-Book

CHRISTMAS WINDOW GIFT BOX - Day 2

Are You Ready to Become the Talk of All Your Friends with the Most Unique Set of Gifts They have Ever Seen?

Are you guys ready for Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Handmade Crafts? I really enjoyed making and decorating this Christmas Window Gift Box. I am always fascinated when I go to malls especially the Holiday season. I love looking at their Christmas window decorations. Decorating this box is like decorating a window in one of those shopping malls.

Christmas Window Gift Box- Open

The side panels of this Christmas Window Gift Box was decorated with Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments cut-out. I cut it out in a card-like manner so you have space to write your Holiday sentiments.

How did I make my gift box? It's pretty easy once you know how. It uses the same technique as my Exploding boxes only I joined 2 flaps together to make a window cut-out and covered it with acetate. The 3D Christmas Tree is really perfect to show case using this box. I used a Sizzix die for my 3D Christmas tree. I used scor-tape in adhering my panels and in making the  Pin-wheel Rossette that adorn my cover lid .You can find my free tutorial here.

This box is really great for packaging small gifts like cupcakes, candles or cosmetics. Possibilities are endless when it comes to how you use the template for this project.

OA PICNIC CADDY

This will be at the top of the post until the release date of the E-Book
Be sure to scroll down.

Hello Everyone! I won't be posting the Day 2 of my 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Crafts today. I am still decorating my Day 2 project. Hopefully, I can post it tomorrow.

But I have a different project I would like to share, this was a project I created for my MayArts scheduled blog post.  It's a Picnic Caddy which I decorated with the October Afternoon’s Campfire product line.

When I received this October Afternoon Campfire kit, I knew exactly what I was going to do. I have made this Picnic Caddy in the past but I did not have the right designer paper back then.  So, I had to create my own plaid paper. This time, I have all the well coordinated Designer Papers, stickers, and embellishments courtesy of October Afternoon and of course May Arts Ribbons.

Ribbons used :

Leaves - BY66
Burlap String - SM10

This Picnic Caddy is so fast and easy to make. I had fun decorating this box. Please scroll down below for the step-by-step photo tutorial.

This project can also be used as your craft caddy. You can use it to store your markers, paint brushes, scissors and other craft tools you have.  As long as it will fit the box.

Tri-Fold Gift Box - Day 1

Are You Ready to Become the Talk of All Your Friends with the Most Unique Set of Gifts They have Ever Seen?

Christmas in September? Why not? I have been thinking lately about how will I handle Christmas this year. I can see myself very busy with the CANTATA Choir concert I joined. The regular practice started last month. I have to LEARN and MEMORIZE 20 songs in English and Spanish. No, I am not good in Spanish but I am learning.

Last year, I released the First Edition of my 12 Days of Christmas Handmade Crafts. It was the month of October when I started blogging about it. This time, I will start it early. Yes, there is a Second Edition, my friends. So today, I will be starting posting unique handmade Christmas gifts and gift boxes. The 12 Days E-book 2nd Edition will be available on the 12th day.

First Day of 12 Days of Christmas (Day 1 ) - Tri-Fold Gift Box

This Tri-Fold Gift Box is a really great way to package your Christmas gifts this season. It is also great for housing greeting cards or a stationery set.  It would also be great for chocolates or even use it to box your invitation cards.

This project does not require any electronic cutting machine. I used my Ultimate Crafter's Companion tool in scoring my folds but an ordinary paper cutter will do the job just fine.

For those of you who know Kim K, the reality TV star, she used a Tri-Fold Box Invitation for her wedding. It is really classic. Now, here's a DIY version of that box. Just imagine how many projects you could do with this template or tutorial. The possibilities are endless.

Pentagon Lantern/ Luminaries

Hello Crafters! Can you believe it's September already?! It's almost Christmas!  Today, I would love to share my Fall Theme project which uses the Crafter's Companion Ultimate Tool. This Pentagon Lantern/Luminaries is very easy to make using The Boxer Score board.

This Lantern has five sides that you can decorate with whatever theme you would like to use. I used coordinating Vellum so it will be translucent . I then added a flameless votive candle inside and decorated the outside with a skull cut-out. This papercraft project will be a great addition to your Halloween or Fall Theme decor. It can also look great as a Lantern Centerpiece or as Christmas luminaries during the Holiday Season.

I am currently working on several gift box ideas for Christmas using the score board. Please stay tuned for more Holiday Gift Boxes Ideas Galore which will be posted on my blog soon.

Thanks a lot for stopping by. I hope you LIKE my projects and that I inspired you today!
