DIY 3D Envelopes - Flashback Sunday

Hello everyone! Today I won't be sharing a Card or Gift Box project. Instead, I decided to share my  DIY 3D Envelopes project.  Both the latest design and the original. For those of you who love to make 3D greeting cards like me, I know you can relate when I say most of the time we discover we don't have envelopes that will accommodate the thickness of the beautiful 3D cards we've created. 

I created these 3D Envelopes to package my latest Pop-Up Invitation with 3-Tier Cake Design. This was a Custom Quinceañera Invitation and my client wanted a 3D Pop-Up with a Pocketfold and a 3-Tier Cake. I think I did justice with the final outcome. But yeah, Pocketfold Invites are too thick to fit in a regular envelope. 

I love how they turned out. The additional embellishments at the corner adds glamour on the packaging invites. 

Here's a sneak peak of the Pop-Up Invitation Pocketfold Card with 3-Tier Cake. I will be posting more about it in the coming days. I would blog more often, but Jinky's Crafts Invites is swamped these days. It's very humbling and heartwarming.. Birthday Teens love my creations. 

These 3D envelopes are the ones I made when I was still Designing for Crafter's Companion.  I am re-posting just to share the How To's.  If you spare a little time and if you have the Enveloper / Envelobox board of Crafter's Companion, you can easily create a 3D envelope.

This 3D envelope was decorated  with the Sheena Douglas Christmas Stamps. 

That's it my friends, you can now add elegance to your 3D greeting cards by using a 3D Envelope. Make DIY envelopes that will coordinate perfectly with your handmade 3D card creations. You will be happy with the result.

Mother's Day Tea Party

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there! We only have one Mothers Day per year, but you are appreciated all year round.  Mother's are God's most wonderful gift to the world.

Today, I just wanted to make a quick photo post.  It's for the Mother's Day Teapot project I made using my old Teapot Exploding Box Tutorial.

Tea Party Gift Box

I made this Tea Party inspired Teapot for a friend.  I was going for an "elegant" Victorian look so I adorned it with flowers, butterflies and gold.  You guys are welcome to devour the cake, it is zero calories. LOL!

This design would look great  as well for a Bridal Shower Tea Party Invites or any Tea Party occasion .

I also made a Ladybug Inspired Teapot Exploding Box Invitation for a Baby Shower Tea Party.  Isn't it cute the way the lady bugs are climbing up the cake? I LOVE them!

Today, I am excited to share this unique Exploding Box Invitation I just finished designing. This Unique Quinceañera Invitation reflects A Night In Paris and Moulin Rouge theme. The guest will be receiving this Hot Pink and Black Magic Box; And when they opened it, a surprise inside the box will explode. The 3-Tier Cake is Moulin Rouge Theme inspired. I like how the windmill mimics the Moulin Rouge in Paris Theater with a signature windmill on the front.

There's so much detail in this Stylish Quinceñera Invitation. Each panel has the Night in Paris custom graphics. The cake was surrounded with mask cut-out pop-up floaties.
