Side Step 3D Save The Date Card

Hello everyone! Did you guys miss me at all? I have been MIA for a month now. I had a mini-vacation in Vancouver Canada where I used to live.  And where my family lives. I had fun checking out the popular Tourist destinations like Whistler, Grouse Mountain Resort and Capilano Suspension Bridge. I have been away for 1.5 yrs so I had to check out the changes.  I consider British Columbia, Canada my 1st home...and it is still beautiful.

Okey enough of my boring story... Today, I would love to share with you a Side Step, 3D Save The Date Card. I have been receiving requests from my followers to design some flat cards and not only Exploding Boxes Invitations. I am a 3D enthusiast so I don't want to compromise that with my latest Side Step Save The Date Card.

This Side Step Card can be used as Wedding Invitations, QuinceaƱera Invitations, Birthday Invitations or a Table Number Card. It is very unique and your guests will appreciate the effort that was put into a Handmade card like this one.

Tutorial and Template for Side Step Card

  1. Start with a 8” x 4” of cardstock. Using a craft knife, make a horizontal slit 1½” down from the top edge, starting at ¾” from the left and extending up to 6”.
  2. Score vertically at ¾”, 1½”, 2¾”, 4” and 6” as shown on figure above.
  3. Fold by mountain or valley fold line. See figure below.
  4. Decorate. Done!

Also I just want to share some photos of my escapade in BC, Canada!
